Who am I?
Jennifer, 28, day dreamer and traveler the rest of the time. I met Jerome, a charming Frenchman, 6 years ago. Born to bilingual parents, I quickly developed my passion for languages and learned Spanish, German and Italian.
I founded Moi, mes souliers to give a new side to travel sites as there are too little French websites that are non commercial out there.
Why I started Voyageries? To share my personal travels in a blogesque fashion, and this time in English.
In the 3rd year of high school, I visited France with my class and it made me want to do it all over again, which I did during a stay in Germany as part of an exchange program during college. Since then, I have been diagnosed with the best disease known to man: passion for travel! Unable to sit still for very long, I work to travel and share my passion with you to alleviate some of that feeling of inactivity that sometimes settles into me.
Known as a backpacker and paparazza in my spare time, I have traveled to over 20 countries this way. When traveling, I like Ziploc bags and hate umbrellas. Objects that I can not leave at home? My travel journal and my camera. My way to stay cheap? Markets and grocery stores.
My ultimate dream? A RTW trip that is now coming true. I’m leaving on January 29, 2013 for a year of traveling and writing!
